> dijitul web design builds websites for UK plumbers and heating engineers. We make emergency call-outs easy with click-to-call, give boiler servicing, repairs and bathrooms their own pages, and show Gas Safe and WaterSafe details exactly as the schemes allow. Starter sites cost from £250 + VAT and Business sites from £500 + VAT.

Price: From £250 + VAT

## Problems this solves

- Someone with water through the ceiling lands on your site and cannot find the number
- You do boilers and bathrooms but the site only ranks for 'plumber'
- You show the Gas Safe logo but your number is missing or under a different name
- You keep getting calls for work you do not do, like drain jetting
- The site was built before you started fitting heat pumps
- Booking a boiler service means three phone calls and a voicemail

## Key facts

- Click-to-call in the header and a sticky call button on mobile
- Gas Safe logo and number shown with your registered trading name only
- Separate pages for emergencies, boilers, bathrooms and general plumbing
- Clear opening hours and call-out terms to cut wasted calls
- Starter from £250 + VAT, Business from £500 + VAT
- LocalBusiness schema and Google Business Profile set up

## Two very different customers

Plumbing sites serve two people. The first is in a panic: a burst pipe, no hot water, a boiler showing a fault code. They search 'emergency plumber near me' on a phone and ring the first credible number they see. The second is planning: a new bathroom, a boiler swap, a landlord's annual gas safety check. They read more, compare two or three firms and fill in a form.

Your website needs a path for both. The home page leads with a large call button and your emergency hours, then splits into clear routes for planned work. Emergency pages are short and to the point. Planned work pages carry more detail, such as boiler brands you fit, typical timescales and what happens on the day.

## Gas Safe Register: the rules for your website

The Gas Safe Register's Brand Enforcement Policy (version 10.0, February 2026) is clear: only registered gas businesses may display the Gas Safe Register brand or a Gas Safe registration number, and these may only be used in association with the registered trading name. The policy names websites, social media and online directories as marketing material it enforces against, and says failure to follow the brand guidelines counts as a breach of the Rules of Registration.

In practice that means:

- use the registered business version of the logo from the marketing toolkit in your engineer account, not one copied from another site
- show your registration number with it, and make sure the trading name on the site matches the name on the register
- never put 'Gas Safe' in your business name or domain, since the policy says the register refuses trading names containing its trademark terms
- if you subcontract gas work to someone else, do not show the logo as if the registration were yours

We also explain to customers how to check you. Gas Safe Register lets people search by name, town or registration number, and its ID card shows a photo, licence number and the categories of work each engineer can do.

## WaterSafe and other credentials

WaterSafe is the national register of approved plumbers, funded by the water industry and covering England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Approval is held by individual plumbers inside a business, so be precise: 'our plumbers are WaterSafe approved' is only true if each of them is. If you are on the register, we link your listing so customers can confirm it.

If you fit heat pumps or solar thermal, you may also hold MCS certification, and heating installers often belong to manufacturer accreditation programmes for warranties. These are worth a line each on the relevant service page, with the right logo, because they answer the 'are you qualified for this?' question at exactly the moment it is asked.

## Pages that rank for real plumbing searches

A single 'Services' page listing twenty jobs will not rank for any of them. With our Business package from £500 + VAT you get up to 15 pages, so the core jobs each get a focused page: emergency plumbing, boiler servicing, boiler repairs, boiler installation, bathroom fitting, landlord gas safety certificates and so on. Each page names the areas you cover and answers questions customers actually ask, like how long a boiler swap takes or whether you need to be home for a service.

We add LocalBusiness and Service schema so search engines understand who you are and where you work, and FAQPage markup where a page has genuine questions and answers. If you only need a simple presence, the Starter package from £250 + VAT gives you up to five pages and still includes click-to-call and your Google Business Profile. See SEO-friendly web design for how we structure pages.

## Small details that stop wasted calls

Plumbers lose hours to calls that were never going to become work. A few clear lines on the site fix most of that: the postcodes you cover for emergencies, whether you charge a call-out fee, the hours you answer the phone, the work you do not do. For landlords, a short booking form for gas safety checks with property address and access details saves back-and-forth.

If you want people to book a service slot online, we can add a simple booking system, quoted alongside the build. Changes after launch are £45 an hour + VAT. Get a quote.

## What you get

- A simple booking request form for annual services
- FAQ blocks with FAQPage schema where they genuinely help
- Analytics and Search Console set up, with call tracking on the Business package

## FAQs

### Can I put the Gas Safe logo on my website?

Yes, if your business is on the Gas Safe Register. The Brand Enforcement Policy says the logo and registration number may only be used by registered businesses and only with the registered trading name. Use the registered business logo from your engineer account's marketing toolkit and show your number with it.

### Should my emergency number be different from my main number?

Only if you actually staff it differently. One number shown consistently on the site, your Google Business Profile and your van is usually better, because matching details help local search. If you do have an out-of-hours line, label it clearly with the hours it covers.

### Can customers book a boiler service online?

Yes. The simplest option is a booking request form where the customer picks a preferred day and you confirm. A full live calendar booking system is also possible and is quoted with the build, since it depends on how you schedule engineers.

### What pages does a plumbing website need?

Home, emergency plumbing, boiler servicing and repairs, installations, bathrooms if you fit them, an about page with your registrations, areas covered and contact. A Starter site from £250 + VAT covers five pages. Business, from £500 + VAT, covers up to 15.

### Can I say my plumbers are WaterSafe approved?

Only if each plumber you are referring to is individually approved. WaterSafe approval is held by individual plumbers within a business, and customers can check the listing. We word the claim accurately and link to your entry.

### Do you write the content for my plumbing site?

Copywriting is included in the Business package from £500 + VAT. We ask you about the jobs you do, the brands you fit and how you work, then write pages in plain English. You check every word before it goes live.
